Reviews:

  • Ada M. Strausberg, "Book Review," The Potomac Journal:
  • "Rather than our motto -- Maryland, America in miniature -- it is the world in miniature through fiction (15 selections), poetry (9) and memoir (7), the three divisions of the anthology. It's a good mixture. Bottom line: New Lines from the Old Line State is a mostly enjoyable read. Our state's literary health seems good and vibrant. I look forward to the next chapter of the Maryland Writers' Association."

  • The Delmarva Review, vol. 2, 2009:
  • "Whether the reader is seeking strong imagery, good storytelling, or a gripping mystery, there is something in these pages to please a variety of interests."

  • Diane Scharper, "Books in Brief," Baltimore Sun:
  • "...Featuring 29 Maryland authors, the anthology contains some can't-be-missed work...."

On the Radio:

  • Lynn Stearns is interviewed by Stephen Williams on WESM's Eastern Shore Focus (9/08) (intro segment here)
  • Ami Spencer reads "Flying with a Ghost" on WYPR's The Signal (10/10/08)
  • Lalita Noronha reads "Shanti's Choice" on WYPR's The Signal (10/3/08)
